TRAVEL
The congress place, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, can be reached by air or sea.
For participants who will travel by air, there are flights from cities such as İstanbul, Antalya, Ankara, Adana, İzmir to Lefkoşa Ercan Airport by Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, Ajet, SunExpress. An example search can be reach at this link. You may use this website for transportation from airport (Ercan Havalimanı) to Girne (Kyrenia).
Participants who prefer sea transportation can travel by ferries from Mersin, Alanya and Taşucu. You may reach ferry itineraries from here.
ACCOMMODATION
There is a wide range of accommodation options in Kyrenia. We recommend that participants make their own accommodation arrangements according to their preferences. Our congress coordinatorship does not have a contracted hotel. However, reservations can be made at hotels that Kyrenia University has a contract with upon the participants’ request (Prices will be communicated to the participants according to the arrangement date). The location of Kyrenia University where the congress will be held and the list of hotels within walking distance to this location are displayed on the map below. Since the holiday season will not be ended in Cyprus on the date of the congress, we recommend that participants make early accommodation reservations. In this way, they will be able to find an inexpensive and trouble-free accommodation opportunity.
